Goldie’s Place

Annual Campaign Management, Executive Search

Giving Tree was hired by Goldie’s Place in January 2013 to create and implement an annual campaign strategy, develop marketing and fundraising materials, train board and committee leadership, provide consultation on fundraising events and lead recruitment efforts for new members of the governing board and young professional board. Goldie’s Place assists homeless adults to become self-supporting and financially independent, through confidence-building dental treatment, career development, job placement and retention support. Giving Tree also helped to expand the organization’s donor base and develop its board members as key solicitors. GTA’s scope of work was extended to February of 2014 in order to recruit and train Goldie’s first ever full time Development Manager. Goldie’s partnered with GTA again in June 2015 in order to create a development plan for FY 2016, establish a robust foundation grants calendar and income pipeline, and set goals for their Development Manager.
