Giving Tree Associates was hired in February 2011 to assess the organization, create a strategic Annual Giving Program and develop the Board of Directors. In 2012 Giving Tree assisted in raising over $800,000 growing their annual budget by 60%, and allowing the organization to hire necessary staff and support.  Giving Tree has placed the building blocks for a Development Department by establishing donor recognition programs, including Major Gifts and Corporate Sponsorship; recruiting and managing a Development Committee; managing a Professionals Board; and developing third party fundraising guidelines. Giving Tree manages all official events and the year end campaign, creating a successful grant program, managing the day to day fundraising activities, and has been integral in overseeing the transition of a fundraising database. Giving Tree provides ongoing consultation regarding organizational structure, development and budgeting and is now the project manager for its first inaugural gala to take place in September of 2013.  Imerman Angels provides personalized connections that enable 1-on-1 support among cancer fighters, survivors and caregivers.  The service is absolutely free and helps anyone touched by any type of cancer, at any cancer stage level, at any age, living anywhere in the world.
