Giving Tree Associates was hired by A Safe Place in March 2014 to build a major gifts program and assess the organization’s database and viability. We are currently working with the board to formalize the work of the development committee, establish a face-to-face major gifts solicitation program, establish campaign cultivation, stewardship and recognition programs, and facilitate a fundraising training and orientation for board and committee members. In addition, Giving Tree conducted a formal database assessment and has put a timeline and work plan in place to help A Safe Place identify new software options and prepare for a conversion.
