Giving Tree Associates was hired by Wolcott School, Chicago’s independent college prep high school dedicated to students with learning differences, in June 2010 to provide campaign support and expanded the scope in June 2011 to provide management of its $13 million capital campaign. Giving Tree developed a capital campaign strategy, as well as donor cultivation, stewardship and recognition programs, and created quarterly newsletters and campaign/marketing materials and communications. Giving Tree also planned and managed multiple donor cultivation/fundraising events; established a development committee; consulted on board development; developed a foundation and grants program; and managed the day-to-day fundraising activities. With Giving Tree’s guidance, assistance and support, Wolcott School raised over $11 million dollars and grew from a lay driven start up group to an established organization.
