Jewish New Teacher Project
Driven to Promote Teaching Excellence in Jewish Day Schools
Jewish New Teacher Project (JNTP) improves student learning by accelerating the effectiveness of new teachers and school leaders in Jewish day schools across the denominational spectrum. A former Giving Tree client, JNTP reached out for assistance in grant writing during a particularly busy season during which their in house development team was managing other priorities. JNTP had several grant applications and reports due to various funders over the course of just six weeks.
Jewish New Teacher Project was awarded all of the grant proposals supported by Giving Tree Associates
How We Work Together
Giving Tree worked efficiently and effectively to gather information, review previous grant applications and learn about the organization’s programs and budget. Giving Tree edited and updated six grant proposals and reports ranging from $5,000 to $1.5 million during the six week period.
Key Project Elements

“I just finished my first project with Giving Tree and it went extremely well... Our consultant is a real pleasure to work with. She listens well, takes copious notes, asks good clarifying questions, is mindful of schedules and deadlines, and really understands the whole grant writing process. I am so relieved to have their help given all of our deadlines!”
