Marcy Steindler is a Tax Manager with Mann Weitz & Associates, working exclusively with the firm’s approximately 130 nonprofit clients. A frequent presenter on nonprofit tax topics, Marcy has in-depth experience in all aspects on of nonprofit tax compliance including Form 990 preparation, unrelated business income and the formation of tax-exempt organizations, including application for tax exempt status. She is a member of the Illinois CPA Society, serving on its Not-for-Profit Organizations Committee. She has held a wide range of volunteer positions with nonprofit organizations, most recently as Vice President of Finance for Congregation B’nai Tikvah. Marcy received a Bachelor of Arts in Music degree from Northwestern University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
Davida Finkle is the Partner-in-Charge of the Audit and Assurance Practice at Mann Weitz & Associates, overseeing all aspects of client relationships and audit and accounting policies and procedures. Davida also leads the firm’s nonprofit practice and works with a wide array of nonprofit clients ranging from the McGaw YMCA and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand to the Rochelle Zell Jewish High School and Honor Flight Chicago. She uses her over 30 years of experience to meet the needs of her clients and offer solutions for their challenges, becoming an integral member of a client’s team. Davida is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois CPA Society, where she serves on the Not-for-Profit Organizations Committee, and Association Forum of Chicagoland. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting degree from the University of Michigan.
