The Partnership for Excellence for Jewish Education (PEJE) believes that Jewish day school education is critical to fostering an engaged Jewish people for an enduring future.  Its focus on three critical levers; professional leadership, board governance and financial sustainability, allowed Giving Tree Associates to play a role in shaping day school development programs in 2010.  GTA Principals, Amy and Stefanie, are members of PEJE’s coaching program and have facilitated both live and webinar workshops for professional and lay leadership on topics such as “The Effective Stewardship of Major Donors” and planning an annual campaign calendar (“Calendar Crunch”).  Amy and Stefanie will continue their work with PEJE in 2011 as a co-facilitator and coach at a national two-day professional training program for fundraising professionals and heads of school.
