In November of 2009, Food Allergy Initiative of Chicago (FAI), a national nonprofit organization dedicated to finding life-saving treatment and ultimately a cure for food allergies, retained GTA. In partnership with FAI Chicago, Giving Tree facilitated the solicitation of major gifts, sponsorship level gifts, live and silent auction items and in-kind donations for their Third Annual Benefit in November of 2010. Over 550 guests attended the event at the River East Art Center in Chicago and the event raised over $1.5 Million (up from $1.1 Million in 2009).
